The Organization Overview helps your customer understand your company’s carbon management maturity, including reduction targets, footprint data, and progress achieved. The questions here are more general and apply at the company level.

What is the Organization Overview section?
This section asks overarching questions about your organization’s:
carbon reduction targets, including SBTi validation and potential carbon offsets
carbon footprint
CDP insights, if available
achieved reductions
What changes after my first submission?
After registration, supplier+s guides you through the self-assessment in a fixed order until your first submission:
Organization Overview (part 1): Carbon reduction targets
Carbon Reduction Efforts (Business Segment questions)
Organization Overview (part 2): Carbon footprint and CDP insights
Submitting the self-assessment for the first time unlocks additional features in supplier+s, including Carbon Accounting and Supply Chain Management.
From then on, you can access and update the Organization Overview directly under Self-Assessment → Organization Overview in supplier+s.
Do I need to answer every question?
No. If your organization cannot report on a topic (for example footprint or reduction targets), you can toggle off the question. Depending on your answers, follow-up questions may appear.
Your customer can still benefit from partially completed information.
What if I don’t know my carbon footprint?
If you don’t yet have a calculated carbon footprint, you can:
indicate that you cannot report this information, or
calculate it using the free Carbon Accounting Module in supplier+s
This provides you with Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 upstream emissions. Learn how to calculate your carbon footprint.
What if my company operates in multiple countries?
The Organization Overview is company-level. Use it to share global information on emissions, targets, and reductions.
Country-specific information belongs in Carbon Reduction Efforts.
Can I update this information later?
Yes. The Organization Overview, and the self-assessment in general, can be updated at any time. Remember to click Submit if you want your customer to receive the updated version.
