FAQ - before starting the registration process

I have been invited to join supplier+s. What do I have to do?

If you have received an invitation from one of your clients, this particular client is interested in gaining insight into your carbon reductions measures and wants to engage with you in a collaborative effort to decarbonize the supply chain. Joining supplier+s demonstrates your commitment to reducing carbon emissions and shows willingness to collaborate on this issue with your clients. It is important to note that any reluctance to answer the self-assessment may impact future procurement decisions made by your clients.

In a nutshell, the process of responding to an invitation is as follows:

  1. You receive an invitation email from your client to join supplier+s

  2. Check if you (or one of your colleagues) are already registered and have an account. If not, register and log in. Alternatively, log in to your existing account and accept the new invitation or forward the new invitation email to your relevant colleague.

  3. Answer a few overarching questions about your organization (e.g. about the company's carbon footprint and reduction targets).

  4. Answer specific questions about the products/services you provide to your client ("Business Segments").

  5. Submit the self-assessment

Over time, you may receive additional invitations from other clients of yours - or you may decide to take the initiative and invite your own suppliers. Once you are on board, the next steps are just a few clicks away.

If you are using the supplier+s platform for the first time, we highly recommend you check out our manual (PDF) with step-by-step introductions.

I am not the right person to respond. What can I do?

If you believe someone else in your company would be better suited to receive this invitation, please feel free to forward the email with the invitation link to them. The invitation is intended for your company as a whole and not specific to you personally. If you are unsure who to forward it to, we suggest checking with the person or team responsible for sustainability, carbon management, compliance, or quality management.
