New supplier+s update (June 2025)

Edited

In June 2025, a big update to the supplier+s platform was released. The update mainly affected the visual design of the platform and some tweaks to the functionality. This article covers the changes to the platform after the update.

Do we need to do anything to get the update?

No, all supplier+s users automatically receive the new update.

What is the update?

The June 2025 update is the biggest update to supplier+s ever. The entire platform has been rebuilt from the ground up to be faster, safer and more user-friendly. Many of the changes are not visible to the eye but are big infrastructure upgrades that make the platform more responsive, more stable and more secure. The visual changes mainly are a more minimal, modern user interface and an updated layout of the customer requests and submission screens.

What changed in the Customer Requests?

The customer requests are now accessible via a separate tab. This makes it easier to get a quick overview over all the requests from customers and whether the self-assessment needs to be submitted (again) or not. The customer requests are now the central point for submitting the self-assessment to customers.

Did the submission of the Self-Assessment change?

Customer requests are now the central place to submit the self-assessment to customers. Before submitting the self-assessment to customers, a new submission confirmation screen previews which data will be shared with the customer.

What changed in the Self-Assessment?

There is now a new overview screen in the self-assessment which shows all business segments that can be managed and the organization overview. This new overview screen increases the prominence of the business segments and makes it easily visible what the performance of each is. The organization overview also now shows a quick overview of the provided data.

The carbon reduction questionnaire itself remains the same. There are no new or different questions. The carbon reduction and transparency calculation work exactly as before.

The organization overview has received a small user experience update. Now, there is no more selection screen to indicate whether data about the 3 topics (reduction targets, carbon footprint and CDP insights) are available before answering the question but the questions about the 3 topics are immediately available and can be skipped by toggling each question off individually.

What changed in the Carbon Accounting?

The calculation of the Carbon Footprint via the Carbon Accounting still follows the same logic and methodology as before. There now is a new quick overview that shows the yearly carbon footprint and a breakdown of the footprint by scopes, without the need to go to the results.

There are also more charts in the results page, which give deeper insights into the (supply chain) emissions.

What changed in the Supply Chain Management?

There are new filter options to make it easier to find a specific supplier and get a better overview of which supplier already accepted an invitation and submitted data. Additionally, there is a clearer separation between the bulk reminders to submit for the first time and submit an updated performance.
