Engage with your own suppliers

Edited

The Supply Chain Management page gives you a comprehensive view of your suppliers, including their invitation status, transparency level and performance score. To invite new suppliers, simply click 'Invite' and increase the breadth and depth of your supply chain overview. You can also invite your suppliers via the Carbon Accounting module to connect their data to your own carbon footprint.

Can I invite my own suppliers to participate in the self-assessment to get insights into their reductions?

Yes, you are more than welcome to invite your own suppliers to participate in supplier+s and answer our self-assessment. With supplier+s, managing carbon emissions along your supply chain is just a few clicks away.

If you are already experienced in calculating your scope 3 upstream emissions, you might use the Supply Chain Management as a standalone module. However, we are also offering a Carbon Accounting module that may serve as an entry point for the Supply Chain Management, helping to identify the most relevant suppliers and their share of emissions.

We highly recommend, that you first start with the Carbon Accounting, before dealing with the Supply Chain Management. The Carbon Accounting is optimized to offer a smooth transition into Supply Chain Management.

What does it cost to invite my suppliers? Is there a free trial?

Managing your suppliers with the supplier+s platform requires users to obtain a paid license. The exact pricing of the license depends on the number of suppliers you want to invite. Reach out to sales@supplier-s.io for more details and a commercial offer.

We are offering a time-limited trial phase to invite your own suppliers - valid for all companies that have accepted at least one invitation from a client with a paid supplier+s license.

Within the free trial, you are able to invite up to 10 suppliers to pilot our approach within your organization. The free trial is available for four months starting from the time you invite your first supplier. Changing the modalities of the free trial any time lies in the sole discretion of ctrl+s.

Why should I decide for a paid license for supplier+s?

Beyond the obvious reasons to get rid of the time limitation of the trial, a paid license will provide additional benefits from day 1:

  • Invite as many of your suppliers as you want (defined by your license package)

  • Customize the email invites that are sent out to your clients

  • Option to view / download detailed self-assessment answers from your suppliers

  • Offer free trial access to the Supply Chain Management module to all your invited suppliers

  • Get access to our extended support to assist your decarbonization journey

  • Benefit from our service level agreements and contracts that go beyond what we offer for our free users

How can I invite my own suppliers to participate in supplier+s?

On the Supply Chain Management page, you have the option to invite your suppliers. To invite a supplier, you need to input some contact details to address them, and you also need to indicate the industry and country. Select the supplier’s industry based on the products you buy from them.

The supplier I invited to join supplier+s has not responded to my request. What can I do?

To send reminders to your suppliers, select "Send reminders" in the Supply Chain Management. You can either request updates from all managed suppliers or remind certain suppliers to submit the assessment.

Will supply chain data be shared with the clients that initially invited me to join supplier+s?

Supply Chain Management data (master data and personal data, in particular Sub Supplier names, Sub Supplier contact details) will never be shared with any of your clients. However, ctrl+s will share the aggregated carbon performance figure of your supply chain.
